Our team is comprised of genuinely gifted minds
With over 20 years of experience in the orthotic and prosthetic industry for both the private and public sector, Mike started as an orthopaedic technician with the NHS. An opportunity to move into prosthetics is where he found his love and passion for silicone prosthetics. In 2016, Mike took a complete leap of faith and founded The Silicone Centre with his wife and business partner Sarah.
Following a long career in the corporate world, working for several UK leading supermarkets and brand leaders within the grocery sector, Sarah wanted to embark on a new challenge and realise a lifelong dream of being a business owner. With her husband Mike's technical expertise and Sarah's commercial background, the start of a successful business partnership was born.
With a BA (hons) in Model Design, specialising in sculpting, Ratna came to us in January 2023 for work experience, to expand her creative skill set. After volunteering for a few weeks, Ratna joined us permanently in February 2023.
If Ratna isn't cooking up a storm in the kitchen, she is spending time with her niece.
With a BA (hons) in Business Studies, Louise joined us in March 2023 following a long career in operations and marketing in the IT industry.
Louise enjoys travelling, high adrenaline sports, and is a keen mountain biker, but Karate is her main passion.
With a BA (hons) in Makeup for Media and Performance, Gabby started her career at Madame Tussauds (Merlin Entertainment Group), before joining us in January 2022. She is a huge animal lover and has an obsession for plants.
With a BA (hons) in Hair, Makeup and Prosthetics for Performance, and a Foundation Degree in Art & Design, Molly also starter her career at Madame Tussauds (Merlin Entertainment Group), before joining us in April 2024.
Molly enjoys playing netball and likes to create greeting cards and paintings for family and friends.
With a Master's Degree in Prosthetic Effects and a Bachelor's Degree in Film Production, Patrick joined the team in July 2024 to kick start his career.
Patrick has a passion for mould-making, his proudest creations include a full size monster suit with cable operated hands and ears, and a 'Blue Meanie' silicone hand puppet.
With a BA (Hons) and Foundation Degree in Media Makeup, Ray spent 9 successful years as a Freelance Makeup Artist and Beautician. Keen to share her wealth of experience, she took on a role as an associate lecturer for level 2 & level 3 courses in Media Hair and Makeup, before joining us in August 2024.
